Shop updates

Glazes

Inner glaze available in three colours: Matte White or Midnight Blue.

– Matte White –

This is a matte semi-transparent glaze so you can see the speckle of the clay body through the glaze. Please note the use of cutlery on matte glazes make more noise than on a shiny glaze.

– Midnight Blue –

This is a shiny dark blue glaze that can appear almost black in some light. It has a gorgeous midnight sky effect.

Pre-order 

frank.land makes small batch ceramics. I take pre-orders for all sets and large orders so I can successfully time manage my orders. I work 2 days a week in the studio. Once you have confirmed and paid for your pre-order I will be in contact with you to confirm the timeline for completion.  (Ranges from 3 weeks - 2 months)

Pick-up

You are welcome to pick up your ceramics from the studio in Victoria St, Brunswick

Postage

frank.land use SENDLE to post orders that cannot be picked up. Your shipping rates will be calculated at the checkout. Your shipping price will depend on the size and weight of your order, as well as your location.  For all orders that I can not SENDLE I will use Australia Post.

Packaging

For small orders I use compostable mailers from both SENDLE and a New Zealand company called NOISSUE. Just pop them in your home worm farm or compost and they take 180 days to break down. All ceramics are carefully packed using a combination of new and reused boxes and bubble wrap. When purchased new, I use 100% degradable bubble wrap. For large orders I include a postage paid return to sender envelope and encourage customers to return the bubble wrap and or mailers to be reused.

I take great care to package your ceramics as safely as possible however if for some reason the ceramics do get damaged during postage please take photos of the packaging and damaged products and get in touch within 48hrs so I can organise a replacement item.

Returns

frank.land ceramics are handmade and there will be some variations in size, glaze and look.  However if you receive an item that you believe is faulty or not as described, please contact me within 2 days of receiving the item so that I can take steps to either replace the item or refund the cost.

Care

frank.land ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe, but you still need to handle with care – they are ceramic and fragile by nature. Please take care not to bump the edges in the dishwasher, on taps or in the cupboard.
